  • Every community member is invited to contribute to Pittsburgh Bait-ul-Mal.
  • Contributions may be single lump sum or in periodic installments.
  • Individuals or family who need financial help can download the application and submit a completed application.
  • Pittsburgh Bait-ul-Mal's Board of Directors will review all applications in accordance with established procedures.
  • All loans are required to be repaid in ten easy installments. For example, if a loan is made for $1000, then borrower pays $100 dollars for ten consecutive months unless the Board makes an alternative loan repayment plan based upon the applicant's circumstances at the loan approval time.
  • If a borrower fails to make the regular installments, he or she will be in default. Pittsburgh Bait-ul-Mal reserves the right to refuse any loan application after due consideration by the Board. A poor loan repayment history may result in a loan application being turned down.
  • A loan applicant must submit the application on or before the fifth of every month. Any application received after the fifth will be considered in the following month.
  • The loan will be granted on the twelfth of every month. The Board members will take about one week to review all application.

  • Applicants who fail to provide two references should instead provide collateral, such as jewelry for assurance.
  • If Bait-ul-Mal receives more application than available funds, then Bait-ul-Mal has the right to select names. Whosoever has his or her name selected, will be granted the loan.
